Overall, this is a very good pack. I have not tested it extensively, however my first impression and use of it is very favorable. It is comfortable, it has nice big side pockets for my water, which I like. And it also has the hip pockets I wanted. The hip pockets are set a little far back and can be a little hard to reach. I like all the adjustability for a day pack that it has all the features of a good backpacking backpack but one that is smaller and more compact. And, I'd say it is big enough for an overnighter. It has room for a bladder, if that is what you prefer, and plenty of small pockets on the inside. I like that a ladies pack comes in black but it isn't completely obsolete of female color. It does have the obligatory pink on the inside. But, if that is my biggest complaint, I guess I can't complain! I would recommend it.
