Very big and boxy

I usually love Smartwool merino shirts but this one (in size Large) is very big on me. I could fit two of me in there. Maybe this is just the nature of "mountain bike" shirts? I normally wear size large in these Smartwool merino shirts, but maybe I should have ordered it in small.

These are very well made and comfortable shorts but the inseam on the pair that I purchased measured just a little over 4" and not the 5" as stated in the specs. They are a little too short for me. If you are looking for shorts in 4" length, go for it.

Smartwool PhD 5in Short - Men's
I've been looking for the ideal shorts and these pretty much fit the bill! Lightweight, very comfortable, well made, stretchy, form fitting and the 5" inseam great for hiking. I ended up buying a second pair from Campsaver after trying these out.
I do wish that they had side, slash pockets so that the shorts could be used on a more casual basis but that's not usually the case with running shorts. I'm happy to to take them like they are.
