The rope came quickly, but it was lavender, not red as I ordered, and marked as manufactured in 2013. I'm not concerned about the age, since unused ropes are OK in storage up to at least 5yrs. But it is only 4oz lighter than my last 9.8mm rope (Tendon from Lanex). I haven't taken the IO out yet, but it seems stiff compared to my 9.4mm Beal Stinger.
