I have 4 pair of Zamberlan boots and I am solidly sold on them as the best possible boot for me. These are much lighter than the others I have and will be my primary summer boot. I do a lot of hiking and Zamberlans fit well and have never needed much break-in time to become comfortable. Well-crafted and waterproof. I find the size is true based on the other shoes I wear. CampSaver has been my go to source for Zamberlans. They are pricy, but well worth the price. With the savings I have been able to pick up some real bargains on several of these excellent boots. Highly recommended if you’re interested in boots that will last you a long time.

I have 3 pair of Zamberlan boots that I have purchased from CampSaver. They are pricey, but well worth the investment if you want boots that are very comfortable, well-made, and last forever. I normally wear a size 10 US in my Zamberlan, but these are made on a smaller last and I returned the 10s for 10.5. Those fit perfectly. They are very comfortable right out of the box and the break-in period is very short. Of the boots I own, these are the best fit and the ones I wear most often. I am on my feet, out on a trail lot, so I want boots that don’t hurt my feet or cause blisters. With a fairly thick pair of wool socks these are wonderful. I have had Gore Tex boots that are hot in warm weather and cause my feet to sweat. These have not been a problem. They are also great looking. I gave them a coat of the hydro block sealer from Zamberlan and it keeps them in tip-top condition. I only wish I had found these boots a long time ago. They would have saved me a lot of money and aches and pains. I highly recommend these boots. Watch for great discounts on CampSaver. It will save you a bundle.

I own 3 pair of Zamberlan boots. They are expensive compared to other manufacturers but I have found that if you watch and wait for the discounts on CampSaver you can get them for a really great price. These are lighter than my other Zamberlans and are great for the warmer months. High qualities material and Italian boot making expertise. The size is true. I normally wear a 10 US, 44 EURO, and order my size. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable right out of the box. I like a medium height in a hiking boot with good support. I have worn many different boots in 6 decades of being outdoors and these are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I only wish I had found them years ago.
The nubuck leather is quite nice. I used the hydrobk spray and they are completely waterproof. A little brushing with a food bristle brush and they look good as new.
The break-in period is very short with these boots. The Gore-Tex does not seem to be as hot, or cause my feet to sweat, as some Gore-Tex I have owned in the past. I am on my feet a great deal and do a lot of hiking. I wear these for moderate terrain in warmer weather and they are great boots. I now wear nothing but Zamberlans and am a very satisfied customer with their products.

I have 3 pair of Zamberlan boots. I consider them the gold standard for hiking, work, trekking, everything that requires my feet to move in comfort. These are more expensive that Merrells comparable hiking shoes, but with the CampSaver discounts I got a really good price on these. The size is what I normally wear in the boots, 10 US,, 45 EURO. They are very comfortable and need no break-in period. I still prefer boots for hiking. These are my every day just walking around shoes. They are Gore-Tex but my feet don’t seem to get hot like other Gore-Tex footwear I have worn. Zamberlan are high quality and worth the cost. I highly recommend these without hesitation.

I really wanted to review these boots because they are without a doubt the best boots for hiking, mountaineering, backpacking, and just getting out in the woods, that are on the market today. Yes, they are expensive, but they are worth every penny you’ll spend. There are also deals out there from Camp Saver and others that will help lessen the hit. The first good boots I ever owned were handmade Peter Limmers and I had to wait a full year for them to be handmade back in 1972. They lasted a very long time but my feet changed over the years and I finally had to give them up. There was a side seam that hit just the wrong place on my arch. I loved those boots and looked for a long time for suitable replacements. I have now found them. I have worn Danners, Merrells, Chippewas, and many others in between. But there was nothing that came close to the quality and workmanship of those Limmers, until now. I like an all-leather boot for the support and prefer one that can be resoled because it will last a lot longer. Laminated soles just aren’t as good as those sewn directly onto the boots. Zamberlan boots are top quality leather, inside and out. One piece of leather on the outside with no seams until the piece joins in the back. Inside is soft glove leather with no seams to rub blisters. Others have said they require no break-in period. That’s not exactly true. They are very comfortable and feel good the first time you put them on. They can be worn right out of the box, but you’re goin
