Pants are comfortable and roomy and the stretch material prevents you getting bound up in those awkward positions. Unlike some reviewers, I do not notice the zip off points in the pants AT ALL. The Zions keep you from the chill on early mornings and keep you from feeling like a furnace on hot days...they convert easily to shorts and back again. Tough material and a wonderful climbing/hiking pant.
