This is a great chair for camping or lounging around. It is very comfortable and stable. The poles seem sturdy and is easy to put together. taking down is also easy, but may be confusing to get the poles to lay flat as not to bend them during storage. It comes in it's own carrying case, but I suspect it would be hard to take backpacking by the way that it packs down.
