Break Wind Like You've Never Imagined
Written on Mar 15, 2015
Lightweight windbreaker, packs down small into its own, attached mesh pocket. Great for wearing over a baselayer on runs, hiking or climbing. The hood is not helmet compatible but it does fit nicely over a beanie and provide some warmth and wind protection. Make no mistake, it is not waterproof by any means but it will shed light mist and snow. It has elastic at the cuffs and waist to seal out the drafts. Great little item to have in your pack. The material is thin so you probably wouldn't want to go on extended bushwacks wearing this. Stitching looks great. Only flaw was the little flap of material that covers the zipper at the chin. La Sportiva could have made the flap a little larger to accomodate the zipper better. Sometimes the lack of material leaves the zipper slightly exposed so it may get a little irritating. Otherwise, nice windbreaker.

Rab Cirrus Pull-On Wind Jacket - Men's
Great windshirt! The Pertex Quantum is so wispy and packable. In the stuff sack, it will fit in the palm of your hand. I weighed the jacket and stuff sack together and it was 3.1 oz. I have the x-large and it fits great. It's trim around the torso, which is great for an athletic build. I have a Patagonia down sweater and a Marmot Baffin insulating jacket and the Cirrus is cut generous enough
