Comfortable but real pain to lace up.

Hoka Challenger Mid GTX Hiking Shoes - Men's
The boots are really comfortable but getting them on and off is a real pain. With a lacing system more like the Kahas, these would be a great boot. Really soft/bouncy sole. I didn't take them on any hikes so I can't say anything about their durability. After the ordeal of getting them laced up and back off, they went straight back into the box. Can't do that again.

Hoka Kaha GTX Hiking Shoes - Men's
Although the upper was the best design of all Hoka boots, the sole was way too stiff and had no cushion at all. Felt like walking on a 2x4 . Would have liked to keep the boot, but it hurt my feet just walking around my house for 20 minutes. Maybe there was a batch of defective soles made because from other reviews, it sounded like they should have had some bounce to them.??? I ended up going with the Stinsons. Way more cushioned sole. Similar to the Clifton 6 running shoes.

Hoka Stinson Mid Gore-Tex Shoes - Men's
After wearing the KAHA / Challenger / Tor Trafa and Stinson, This Hiking boot has the best cushioning of all. Feels more like the bounce of the Clifton 6. The Kaha had a better lacing system, but was way too stiff. Hurt my feet.
