Better support and protection than a pair of flip flops and not as heavy as a pair of Chacos. If between sizes or if you’ll wearing these without socks I suggest going smaller so the heel strap doesn’t drop down as easily.
This is my second pair. The old pair didn’t fall apart they just became my yard shoes. I like the fit and the support and they’re very comfortable in spite of the firm sole. I did switch to standard laces on the first pair but so far I’m sticking with the quick lace system on the new pair.
I was looking for an insulated coat to wear for cold, snowy winters in Colorado. Bought the Rab for the synthetic insulation, the Pertex Shield shell and the adjustable hood and cuffs. One issue is the main zipper - this is a shorter jacket length and it has an unnecessary two way zipper that is very difficult to zip up. Concerned about durability.
...looking for a winter coat to hang by the front door - go to the store, get the mail, walk the dog, etc. This jacket is long enough and large enough to fit over whatever I happen to be wearing and it has lots of pockets (inside and outside). I'm 5'7", 137lbs and I got the small.
My old Nano Puff fits like an old gray sweatshirt - easy on and easy off and very comfortable. The new Nano Puff has a fitted shape - maybe to fit under a shell? Maybe warmer?
