This 4 Unit Iron Grill Table 'base' is classic Snow Peak: thoughtfully designed, made w high-quality materials, and expensive! I have other SP products, including those more backpacking oriented and some for car camping, but this unit marks my introduction into their high(er) priced product line. I have other portable tables that I've used for years in basecamp situations, both diy and 'store bought', but nothing as versatile as this thing. Or as heavy. I've started hacking up thick polyethylene cutting boards to fit in the table spaces, and dreaming about splurging for IGT add-ons. (I wish the 2 U IGT was in stock!)
Is this table base worth the price? I don't know (yet), but I'm confident in saying that there's nothing else like it in today's market.
