Light, stretchy, very comfortable, and they dry quickly. I can easily wear these for a week or probably two. Currently, I've worn these in temps from 0-17C / 32-62F
In hind-sight, I'd probably prefer the gray. The blue is a bit too bright and smurfy.
Two small design issues:
1. I'd really like a way to adjust the cuffs just a bit. The pants are ~1.5 cm too long, and can drag in the mud and water. A snap similar to the roll-up snap to snug up the cuff would allow the hem to ride a bit higher. Alternatively, a cord lock system would work. It would not need to go all the way around - just 8-10cm with enough slack to pull the hem about 2-3 cm tighter.
2. The cargo pocket, for some reason, always seems to alert the new TSA body scanners. I'd really rather not wait for a pat down every time I fly.
Keeps the sun out of my eyes for the most part. I'd like a slightly longer bill. I'd also like a lighter version and a tighter fold.
The tensioning system is not good. It's a cord around the bottom with a cord lock. This in itself is fine, but the cord lock is right in the center at the back. It's *exactly* placed to dig in to the skull when leaning back into a chair, wall, etc. If it were 2cm lower, or even 1 cm and 50% thinner, it would probably not be an issue.
