First off, this jacket is WARM. You can't wear it above 40 degrees. I walk 15-20 minutes to work each day, and at 20-25 degrees, I'm comfortably warm everywhere - arms, neck, body - you're going to be comfy.
This coat is bulky - it's over 4 lbs. But with this much goose down, it's what you should expect. There's a handy pocket on the outside that zips (I hate velcro flaps) that's big and can hold a lot of stuff, plus multiple pockets inside. You'll be set for storage.
The snaps cover the zipper, so if you're in inclement weather, that won't be a problem. ONE GRIPE - the zipper is on the OPPOSITE side from what us USAers use, and that takes a LOT of getting used to - I actually had to ask for help to get this zipper done once. It's a challenge and requires some practice, and the zipper doesn't latch easily. If the zipper was on the other side, this jacket would be perfect. Other than that, it's a phenomenal cold-weather jacket.
For sizing, I usually wear XL, but these run big. I got a L and wear a dress shirt and undershirt and it fits well.
