Aku Superalp GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's
I had high hopes for these boots. The boots fit large so order 1/2 size smaller than your feet. The laces can be felt through the soft flex point on the top front part of the boot (uncomfortable). The extra inch higher at the top compared to other lower cut similar boots does not offer any extra protection. In fact it actually creates hot spots from rubbing. I've returned to my Zamberlan Vioz GT. Wish I didn't waste the $350.00 as it took me approximately 2-3 weeks to test the boots so I'm now unable to return them.
