Before trying these liners out I really never understood why people would wear two pairs of socks. I quicky understood why. These socks are so lightweight and you hardly even notice them under your heavier wool socks.
I've bought darn socks for years and will continue purchasing them. Comfortable, practice, and nearly indestructible. I like them a lot for my hunting boots. They are probably a little thick for everyday wear.
I found these socks on sale a couple weeks ago and decided to try them out. I've been a darn tough guy for years - mostly due to their warranty - but I can say that Smart wool are just as good. Very comfortable and the elastic at the top didn't cut off circulation to my rather large calves.
After months of trying to find the perfect hunting boot for early season deer and elk I think I may have found it. The Lynx are super comfortable and move well. I have fairly large calves and finding taller boots that fit without causing pain have proven to be more difficult than I had expected. I haven't had any fitment issues with these boots.
