I love how these pants fit. They are lightweight and look great! I love the side zipper pocket for small things (comes in handy).
I found these pants to be "thicker/warmer" for Florida humidity/heat. My husband said they look like parachute pants (80's thing). They do almost have the same type of material and make a swooshing sound when you walk, but I still love them. They look great!
I'm about 5'6" and heavier in the middle. ;-) I got a side 8 and they fit good (though I'd like them looser). Size 10 is too loose. Size 9 would have been perfect. Inseam was perfect for me. I don't like "high-waters" and I like them to hang lower than the ankle.
I ordered the Marmot Lainey pant (way better for Florida) They're much "lighter/cooler" for the heat/humidity, though the material is thinner and doesn't look as "dressy", if that's such a thing for hiking pants. The Lainey pant has an elastic waistband around some of the waist area.
I did also pick up Marmot jeans (tried both size 8 and size 10) and for my shape - none of the jeans worked out for me. Too bad, they were on clearance.
The Lobos and Lainey pants have more "give" and are both very comfy. If I had my choice (not factoring in the weather), I'd like the Lobos pants - they seem to be a better quality-type. Though the Lainey pant is more practical in the Heat/Humidity.
I ordered this chair to go on Scouting events with my son. This chair is compact, light and very comfy. It does sit a bit lower than the normal camping chairs, but it is still comfy. The seat is wide enough that you don't feel like you're sitting in a lightweight portable chair. (except for the height part)
