I received my Futura 35 EL Pack in record time and in great condition. I love everything about this pack except the size. I figured that purchasing one of their EL series would increase the capacity, but the way the frame is curved makes the main compartment much slimmer than expected. I think the pack would be great with lighter and compact gear but I bought this bag with the intention for travel in Europe and was hoping for a little extra storage space. Still planning on using it and don't see any foreseeable issues (the included rain cover will be great in the UK).
I bought a pair of Chacos on the recommendation of friends and family who have worn them for years and still love them. I decided to go with the classic Z1 Unaweep for the thicker Vibram sole for better use outdoors. Once I started wearing them it took a little bit of time finding the right positioning for the straps so they don't chafe the feet, but I have been wearing my pair almost daily for the past 5 weeks now and I hate to take them off.
The only reason I went with 4 stars instead of 5 is that for the first 2.5 weeks of breaking them in the thicker sides around the heel really rubbed hard and I had some slight blistering. After talking with a friend who had the same pair however, I was able to get the straps cinched correctly and my foot had more room away from the side wall. Now that they are broken in and the shoes have molded to my feet, I can say I have never owned a better pair of sandals.
