Light weight backpack. 2 side pockets (water bottle size), a zippered section with two pouches... maybe your phone and valuables... room for snacks in the middle section. The thing I like most about this backpack is the fit. Being only 5' a lot of packs still hit me below the small of my back even after shortening belts as far as I can. The belts on this one can be adjusted so that the bottom of the pack hits right around the small of my back, transferring a lot of the weight to my hip/waist area. It's almost like I'm not carrying one. Shoulder straps are padded and of a mesh material to facilitate ventilation.
