Sorel Slimpack Riding Tall II Boot - Women's
So these shoes are not the shoes that you will hose down like a pair of Hunters but they are great. I wear them walking on our property after a rain and they can handle mud. I just don't get deep into the mud because I don't want to mess up the higher part of the boot. I have received many compliments on them.
As far as size: I would size up. I am an 8.5 and I bought these in a 9.

This jacket is like being snuggled by an inanimate object. Great warmth. Love the button snaps on the chest/neck. I sized up and did not necessarily need to: I am muscular/broad shouldered. The small fit well at the shoulders but is pretty loose elsewhere...not unattractive loose though.
