This is my second RAB fleece. The first one was the RAB Shadow Hoodie. I've had the Shadow Hoodie for a couple of years and used it for both winter and summer hiking. The Shadow Hoodie is pretty good for winter down to -10F when hiking. When hiking in the winter,I will use a base layer underneath and if its windy a shell above. The shell is rarely necessary below tree line unless its snowing or r
