Really like this boot, and I've had many. Good solid sole doesn't flex too much when on rocky terrain with a heavy pack. Never had a blister...
Used many times with heavy pack, rock/scree terrain. great ankle support. Water proof on stream crossings. Seems like it will hold up.
What can anyone say about candles. They fit my lantern... I have no idea what make of lantern. These are basically plummers candles you can buy cheap at the hardware store. I was lazy, and saw them here. They will work.
Bought these for my Zamberlan hiking boots. Used the boots many times with the original insoles. Decided to see if "expensive" insoles made a difference. A lot of research led me to these. I didn't like the look of the thinner insoles. Wanted some cushion. These are better than the originals, but throw a heavy pack on and go hard and long, and your feet will hurt all the same. Not sure it's really worth it. They did seem to hold my heel better on the decent. Could use more cushion up front, but that's my opinion. Many people seem to like thin insoles. Used in rough rocky/scree terrain, huge pack, lots of miles. Ain't gonna stop the pain Bro.
