I got the Flash jacket as a replacement for a Marmot Zeus I'd had for 5 years. First impression is that is is LIGHT as a feather. Seriously light. I have a Western Mountaineering sleeping bag and know their gear is top shelf ... as is the Flash jacket. Amazing craftsmanship. The material is ultra-light and soft but did not feel flimsy and fragile. Loved the fit - I am 5'7 135lbs and a small fit nicely. Loved the cording on wrists and waist. However ... I am returning it but ONLY because it isn't as warm as I needed. I wore it with a fleece under a hardshell skiing in 30 degrees and was fine. I wore it with just a long sleeve tee in 40 degrees and was OK. I wouldn't suggest it for anything below those conditions. Am trading it in for a Rab Microlight.
