Outdoor Research Ascendant Vest - Women's
It's what I was looking for in a winter sports vest except that it's cut too loose. I'm a size 2 and the XS was way too big. My friend who is a size 8 ended up with it. (And yes, she's using it as an outer layer.)

Marmot Alpha 60 Jacket - Women's
A breathable jacket for winter running. First day out ran in a snow flurry for 2 hours and stayed warm. When the wind came up, I'd put a wind shell over it and then take it back off when the wind eased up. Now just need a vest of the same fabric without a hood.
Just 2 pounds.

Review for
Big Agnes Whetstone Shelter With Floor Tent
Most shade structures are much heavier. This is light enough that you can strap it onto your backpack and go a ways. It's not as tall as many but it can provide much needed relief in hot desert heat. I've experimented with clipping on a sil-nylon or relfectix inner layer to make it like a desert tent with a cooling layer and that has helped a great deal. Check out the video on the Big Agnes site for how to use it; it's a pretty nifty design.

Exped Bivybag Uno UL
You can put your bag inside it, you can use it without a bag, and you can use it inside your bag as a vapor barrior liner.
I don't need it this long so I'm considering cutting off the end and putting in a shock cord closure so that you could walk around in it too.
This is the lightest of all the waterproof bivy sacks I looked at without getting into the mylar type bags that are a nightmare to fold bag up. This is versatile for many uses. The Duo version of this bag looks pretty interesting as well.
Also a good thing to stick in your pack in the winter backcountry.

For the price, can't be beat! Pops up in seconds which is great when you're on the road and getting in late to camp for just one night. I did have to find a video on youtube to learn how to fold it down; the pictures weren't enough information for me to make sense of it and I've had twisty car windshield shades for years.
