I bought the prodigy training board to help keep my grip strength up after the rock climbing gyms closed down due to COVID-19 and I must say that the "beginner" hangboard training routine I found online KILLS my forearms...but in a good way. I would definitely recommend this to beginners. I am at a V5 level at the Touchstone Climbing Gyms in California after climbing since November 2019 and I can feel myself getting stronger.
