Too Tight and Scratchy

I bought this t shirt at the same time as the sport 120, hoping they would fit similarly and this one would provide a brighter color and different neckline. However, this fits like a traditional base layer- very snug, shows all the curves and rolls. Which is fine if for a base layer or active pursuits but it’s not why I bought it. The main reason I’m not recommending this product and gave it three stars is because it was perhaps the scratchiest piece of smartwool clothing I’ve ever tried, and I own a lot of merino base layers by smartwool and other brands. The medium fit tight on my 5’4” 150lb curvy frame, for reference.
Wicking, Breezy and Stink-Proof

The ultra light weight 120 merino sport t-shirts are great, I now own two and hope smartwool continues making this product and expands the color options. Unlike most smartwool clothing that is very fitted (as base layers should be) this t-shirt is a much looser fit and so light the fabric drapes well and there is no itchy/scratchiness at all. It also wicks super well and the best part is in the summer I’ve gotten away with wearing it more than once between washes because the merino does not retain odor in the armpits no matter how much I sweat. Perfect for travel! It fits me the way I expect a medium to fit me- not too baggy but not fitted, it doesn’t cling to my stomach area. For reference I am 5’4” 150lb curvy, normally wear a size 8 bottoms/medium tops.
