Updating my review after my first time actually camping with the bag for 2 days and over 20 miles of hiking.
This bag works great! I had about 35 pounds of gear in the bag and a lot of the hike was uphill but the wishbone hip belt really plays a great part in hugging your hips in a way that you do not feel any uncomfortable rubbing while distributing the weight perfectly.Nothing on this bag including the zippers or buckles seem cheap or flimsy and I was pretty rough on this bag.
The padding is great I can really see how this could handle 60 pounds if you wanted but I do not know what you would have to make it that heavy.
My only negative point I have with this pack is the padding for your back is so great that you will sweat wearing this, the airflow is not the best back there but like i said this thing is pretty strong and can hold heavier loads comfortably besides being sweaty.
Overall this is a really great bag keeps everything organized and easy to get too. Bottom straps held my thermarest solite sleeping bad nicely. I had also a cheap huge 45 degree sleeping bag, 3 days worth of food and clothes, gallon of water (no water on site), and minimo jetboil with canister, all easily packed in this bag. With room to spare.
Great starter pack for those looking for something that is bigger than a 50 liter but not a monstrous 80 or 100 liter.
Keep in mind I'm new to this and this is my first pack.
Just got this pack about two weeks ago and haven't gotten the chance to truly test it. But I have loaded it with 20 to 25lbs of gear and went on 5-10 mile hikes. The frame and wishbone waist band are great. Plenty of padding and breathable. Although the padding around your lower back will make you sweaty but will not get uncomfortable. The wishbone waist band hugs your waist nicely and does not rub or irritate in any way. The material seems very very durable along with the buckles and zippers.
As for pockets and space I wanted a little larger pack for solo trips and trips with my girlfriend. I already love the double side pockets allowing for larger items and water bottles to be sinched down at the same time. The stashe pocket is a great additive and the U shaped zipper is plenty big to get every thing you need.
To me this a great first pack no real cons besides maybe not being that breathable along the back but this is supposed to hold 60lbs so I understand and love the thicker padding. Really recommend this pack.
I'd add pictures but I'm on my phone and don't know how or am not seeing how too.
