Mountain Hardwear Ramesa Pant - Women's
I have several pairs of the Yuma pants and thought that these would be as awesome. Sadly they aren't and it's the design. I bought these in my proper size (6) and I've never been able to wear them. The waist is so large I can just about pull the pants over my hips (and I have hips) without undoing the fly. Even with a belt these don't work because they cling and grab at my thighs in an uncomfortable (and most unflattering) way and completely restrict movement. My yuma pants of the same size fit wonderfully! Not sure who they designed these for, but I think you're waist would have to be about as big as your hips and you'd have to have tiny thigh-gap thighs for these to fit. So disappointed.

Awesome Pant

I love these pants! They are simple and lightweight and have been in constant use since I bought them. I'm even using them in winter to stay dry during shoveling! I really like the waistline, which doesn't have the typical "I shoved a pillow down my pants" feel. I'd recommend ordering a size up though - I usually fit a size S and got these in a size M.

Mountain Hardwear Plasmic Jacket - Women's
Love how light and simple this jacket is! It's the perfect thing to bunch up and throw in your pack in case of rain - small and lightweight. I find it fits pretty much true to size with enough room to layer comfortably underneath without constricting movement. A drawback is that it doesn't have pit-zips and you will get a bit sticky in it. However, if your goal is not to get drenched, this'll do the trick for a decent price.

Gregory Deva 70L Backpack - Women's
This pack will always be a staple with me. I'm a short woman with a short 14" torso and I love that there is a true XS option! Unlike many adjustable packs with a broad range of torso lengths in a single size, Gregory keeps the torso sizing precise and extends the pack outward and in width. This keeps the pack from riding too high on your back. (I've used packs that adjust to my torso length but r
