I'm not sure I'll ever backpack with these but for car camping or just making sure my stuff looks different from nearly everyone else's it'll work nicely. More great gear from Snow Peak provided via CampSaver.com!
I wanted something lighter and cheaper than the Big Agnes MtnGLO system that would help me find my tent if I had to leave it in the middle of the night. This mostly works for that purpose; the light isn't very bright but for less than $10 and 1 oz my expectations have been met.
When Alite released their Monarch chair it was quite good for what it did but I was never completely comfortable in it; the shoulder area didn't seem entirely correct for me. To be fair, it fit my teenagers just fine. When the Mayfly came out I tried this out and instantly felt it was a better design; no more issues around the shoulders for me. Having all of the legs in the chair (instead of being two of the legs like with the Monarch) was a huge plus. I also considered the REI Flex Lite chair but found the Monarch to be a superior design. Thanks, CampSaver and Alite!
I own the original version of this compression sacks and kinda wish I'd found the ultra-sil nylon version first. I'm looking forward to using these on my next adventure; thanks to CampSaver.com for having them on sale; it made buying the newer version slightly cheaper!
This tent is crazy light and packs crazy small, too. If I had one request it'd be to make it about 4-6" longer and wider and 2" taller; the few extra ounces to do that would make it perfect in my book. Kudos to CampSaver.com for having it on sale with the footprint included; thanks!
I have the low version of these and bought the high version for snow hiking. I'm a huge fan of OR gear and can tell these are going to work for my needs very well on my next hike. Getting them on sale was icing on the cake!
After losing some weight I needed new softshell pants. I had some OR Voodoo pants and noticed that the cut on the Ferrosi pants is more relaxed so I thought I'd try them instead (they are also a little cheaper). I like these more because they fit me better and have two zipper pockets in the back. I'll probably buy another pair in another color at some point; they are my go to winter hiking pants.
