I bought this to have a warmer option for rainy weather. Kind of a "winter rain shell." Although not completely water resistant, it works great in snowy weather or during light (by east coast standards) rain. The cuffs of the sleeves are a pretty tight but aside from that, the jacket fits great. I would highly recommend this jacket.
Super warm, light, breathable fleece. The fit is perfect. As expected from Mountain Hardwear, sleeve and torso lengths were tru to size. The only downside is getting it on and off. Could probably fix it by putting some type of lining inside.
I ordered this to have a warmer baselayer for elevation or under a windshirt. It continues to exceed my expectations. The fit is perfect, the material is comfortable, and it retains heat. Definite suggestion for anyone.
They're a little pricey but they are worth it for the great balance of support and comfort that they offer. I've been wearing them for a few months and often while carrying 70-80lbs. The only thing I had to do to break them in was wear them around the office and house for a week.
Breathes well but it's great for early mornings until you warm up. It has the emo thumb holes at the ends of the sleeves which are kind of pointless but other than that, it's a great piece of kit.
Haven't used them for much other than just daily wear or a light day hike but they've performed well. Lightweight enough to keep feet from sweating but very, very durable.
Bought this for gym days. The fit is perfect. I'm at about 5'8" and usually between 140-150. The sleeves might be a little tight for some guys but other than that, there's no reason that someone wouldn't love this shirt.
So far, I've used these shorts for backpacking, a short run, and deadlift day. Not only have I not had any issues with flexibility, but they have actually managed to keep me dry as promised. Definitely recommend. Worth the cost.
Great idea for a jacket. Keeps the torso warm but lets everything else breathe. Good choice for a post-surf session jacket. Wouldn't wear it as a base layer due to the synthetic material on the chest but a light shirt underneath would be perfect.
