Synchilla is coze and the best fleece around since my 1995 Denali jacket. Quality is top notch. Fit is squirrelly. I'm 5'6" and 175 lbs, and run a med. in most items. This runs a bit large in a medium, but not so much that returning it for a small was a major consideration. The shoulders and torso are fine but the sleeves are a bit bulky to wear under a shell garment. That's the only downside to this item, because fleece on a windy day is not cool. You need a shell, but this garment is not designed to go under a shell like other slimmer fleeces. Hence a 4 star rating rather than 5.

This one does run smaller/trimmer than the full weight synchilla snap-t, in which I wear a small, and it still fits like smock. Of the three, for me the synchilla jacket is the most versatile because ti's cut trimmer and I can layer it under a shell.
