I bought this jacket for my son who goes to school in Oregon where it rains A LOT. He likes to go backpacking on the weekends and was looking for a jacket that was light weight and waterproof with pit zips. I did some research and surprised him with this jacket. He said it kept him dry, warm and allowed him the mobility he needed when he went backpacking over the weekend. He described it as “working out like a dream.” I may have to look into the women’s version!
