Great material. As always, Arcteryx create great gear and use impeccable materials. At first sight, I feel like this pack will last a lifetime and perhaps even be handed down through the generations.
I love that the pack doesn't hit the back of my neck (which often happens since I'm short). But I wish the pack didn't taper at the bottom because I sometimes like to use this pack for uni and it's hard to fit a laptop and other digital equipment into this slightly odd shape.
Overall, I still love this pack. I'm a huge Arc'teryx fan.
Wish it wasn't so difficult to ship this brand to Australia. Open the shipping channels please!
Love this jacket. Have bought this same jacket in the past and it was perfect, so I keep coming back to it. It's become a staple in my kit bag for town, climbing, camping and mountaineering.
The fit is perfect. I'm a small girl (147cm tall) and Arcteryx's pattern fits my body perfectly. The hem sits at my hip and the sleeves end at my wrist.
Loved this backpack as soon as it arrived. I know it's designed as an alpine pack but I bought it to use for university and as a day pack for traveling. I have the 40 liter pack with the roll top design and like that for alpine climbing. I can see how the 30L pack would also be good for alpine climbing as well.
I bought this pack to carry my uni laptop and other digital gadgets as well as for using as carry on luggage for future travels abroad. The size is perfect for this use as well as day trips hiking.
I loved the fire engine red and the minimal/ stripped down design - nice and clean. However, I miss the roll top design - I liked that feature from my 40 litre pack. Though, I do like the lid having a compartment on the underside.
Overall, I love this pack and can see it being a staple, go-to pack for future adventures for many years to come.
