The bag is quite warm but scratchy texture and does not compact down very small.

Summer bag only

Just brought on a 3 night backpacking trip in Southern California. Nights hit upper 40s. The bag's lack of insulation in certain spots definitely woke me up shivering. Ended up wearing all of my clothes and covering myself with whatever I could. Not cool, or literally way too cool. I wouldn't recommended for outdoors unless it was a hot summer night. PS I'm a hot sleeper too, and am rarely cold.
