Great shoe, not a great fit for wife's foot

This is a great looking and well built shoe at a good price. For some reason, my wife is getting some discomfort on the lower outside edge of the shoe. We will see if it breaks in OK, she's been wearing them for about a week. This is the first hiking shoe she has tried.

I've tried a lot of socks over the years, this is absolutely the most comfortable. I'm even wearing them with my everyday work shoes. I assume with the lifetime warranty, they will hold up a good long time.
