I'm a big fan or merino wool long underwear but using it for summer use was a stretch. It works. Not hot, or sweaty, dries quickly.Be sure to machine wash and dry a few times or this item can feel a bit itchy at first--which surprised me.

MSR Carbon Reflex 1 Footprint
A footprint is self-explanatory but I have been making do with an older one made for a similar tent and this one is sturdier (yet light) and easier to set up--no concerns about water running under the tent in a rain storm. I should have bought it when I bought the tent!
