I've heard good things about Rab gloves but they have an odd fit. Many say they fit small and they definitely do. I'm usually borderline medium or large in gloves (with a preference for medium in liners and large for outers to allow layering). My hand measures 8" across which puts me at the bottom end of Medium for rab gloves. With all this, sounded like a large would fit well in this glove. It does, sorta. The primaloft liner in large is perfect and the outer in larger is a great glove with just enough room for layering a fleece or powerstretch glove under. There lies the problem, the inner and outer together, with a medium sizing up for large, is too tight of a fit. The fit is passable but I feel like my bare hand is compressed. Ideally my hand should only feel tight if I was wearing a thin powerstretch liner after sizing up. My intended use was for trekking and not technical winter climbing. Sizing up I would call "technical" and up 2 again would be warmth oriented.
