Nice boots!

Found myself in a tight spot. Just days before a 5 day hike on the AT, my trusty Kaylands bit the dust. These boots arrived 1 day before hitting the trail. After 5 days in the trail, I suffered no major boot break-in problems. Only minor adjustments to the laces. Comfortable boot with 40lb pack. No rain so can not speak to waterproofing. Breathability was good. Very good all around grip but slipped a few times on wet rocks tree roots. Sole provides a good balance between comfort and trail terrain communication.
