The Filson Mackinaw wool vests are very well constructed. Typically I order a large but due to being 6'-3" and 172 pds I thought I would order the medium-long in this vest so that the fit in the waistline was a little more snug . As for my slim and tall build, this was a perfect choice for me .

The Filson Tin Cloth Cruiser is very well made. Because of the way the tin cloth is produced this coat is quite stiff at first until it is broken in . With that said it is tough as nails in the field and can withstand a lot of punishment . The sizing is perfect and well thought out with all the pockets. The cruiser is double layered in all the strategic areas that reinforce its ability to take on anything you throw at it.
