Bought an open box version, and so far I've been impressed. The sound quality from the actual receiver is quite good. Taking a look inside it actually has a nice headphone amplifier after the bluetooth receiver, so it capable of driving more difficult drivers or the standard ones louder than most bluetooth adapter.
That all said, the actual speakers are AWFUL. They press into your ears over time becoming uncomfortable, have no highs or lows, and have flakey wiring that will cause the system to pop or cut out randomly. The drivers are the same as the Skullcandy Cassette, you can find reveres for them on the sound.
Fortunately this is easy (and cheaply) fixed by just tossing them and putting in a pair of KOSS KSC75's. They are $15, sound better ACROSS THE BOARD, and are infinitely more comfortable.
Also siri would be nice, but I have issues with it being accurate enough to be any real use so it's not a huge loss.
