This is a cute top, very light weight and all the quality you would expect from Smartwool. I apparently was not paying attention, though, and was surprised by the slit in the shoulder. That's ok for a teenager or fashionista, but awkward for a 50 year old like me. It's too cold yet to know if I'll wear it, but I kept it because I still like it despite the slit.
I am used to the old style scoop neck t-shirt - I think they called it an Anika cut? I wear a large in the old t's, but this large was huge, the scoop neck too deep, the bust to roomy. It's a great weight, looks nice, is soft, and I love the length, but it was made for someone more curvy and chesty than I am.
I love this as a light sweatshirt. The longer tunic length is flattering for a variety of uses - a cover up over workout attire or a casual top. I tend to be between a medium and large, size 10 or 12 tall, and I ordered a large. It's plenty room with nice long sleeves.
I love both Smartwool’s 150 and 250 products. While the 250 is closer to a sweater weight, this 150 is tissue thin, but still warming and durable. A very flattering fit, I love to wear it during high-output activity like running, where it stays supremely comfortable even after I’ve built up a head of steam. Hands-down better than synthetics.
