We recently used this sleeping bag for the first time for four nights and five days canoeing and camping in the Sylvania Wilderness Area. The lows were in the 30's; the coldest night got down to 34 F. The bag was roomy enough for myself, my partner, and our dog. I'm 5'8" 175 lbs, my partner is 5' 105 lbs, and our dog is about 55 lbs. We were comfy and warm every night. However, it did feel nice to have one simple layer on the cooler nights that dipped into the low 30's. My partner shares similar opinions with the other females reviewing this bag that it's not quite as warm as a more form fitting mummy bag. That being said, we absolutely love this sleeping bag and it will be our go to sleep system for car, backpack, and canoe camping. It packs down smaller and lighter than two single sleeping bags and is setup a lot better for couples wanting to snuggle at night (versus zipping two bags together). We used the bag with two 20"x72" Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Ultra Sleeping Pads.
