Wow. i have been looking for something to fill the gap when the wind gets up and the sea get rough. I have tried strap on paddle blades that are ok but dont give the full pull of your stroke. The butterknife gets it done!!! It does take a little getting used to but as soon as you do in standup mode it is second nature and you dont have to think about it. Kneeling and paddling is amazing power stroking and planing through the water. Great job on the design of this paddle. Cant wait to try it out is the California surf!!!!
