Great material

Written on Feb 13, 2018

Just wore these for the first time. Very comfortable. Great fabric, it stretches with you as you move but it doesn’t feel like the typical nylon/ polyester. They’re long, come to the tops of my knees. Fit is true to size, I wear a 36in jeans and most dressier pants and the 36 in these fits great. Other reviews have complained that the waist adjuster doesn’t hold, but I wore them all day with no belt and it worked great. No buttons on the rear pocket but it has a flap that’s sewn at the corners that seems to hold everything in the pocket, easy to use and seems to work. Now I just need to order other colors.

Very light

I like this Tent a lot, it's very lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of room in your pack. The trade off is that the material is very thin, I believe it's 15d. A lot of outdoor gear is made from 30d so this is thin stuff. That makes it more likely to get damaged so it's important to treat it carefully. It is not completely freestanding. The Tent body will free stand but in order to take advantage of the interior space you have to stake it out. I also don't think the fly would be any use unless you staked it out. This isn't a big deal to me but don't buy it expecting completely free standing.
I was originally concerned about the size of the opening. I'm getting older and was worried about contortions trying to get low enough and then turn around. But it's really not a problem. The opening is tall enough that I didn't have any issues. I'm 6 ft tall and can comfortably sit upright inside the tent.
This would be a tight fit for two people. I consider it a tent for either two smaller people, or for one person and Gear.
Overall very happy with the Tent. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because the material is so thin and will require some care. But that's the price for light weight.
