It's a great pad. The blow up bag thing isn't very practical. I think it takes more effort to blow up the pad with the inflator/storage bag than it takes to simply blow it up the old fashioned way. Everything else I read, heard and imagined about the pad turned out to be true. Yep, it's a bit noisy and yes it's super comfy, light, and compact. My only wish is that it could be a little wider.
I use this for mountaineering trips. It works great on glaciers and snow fields to keep out the cold while easing the load I have to carry. It would be a better pad for my use if it had a shape similar to the Pro Lite because it would give more foot room inside my bivvy bag plus reduce the weight even more.
