These are very reliable and well made bindings. They are heavy duty and can handle very hard drops. I paired these with a pair of Tecnica Cochise boots for a great but slightly overweight backcountry setup. Overall, I am very happy with these bindings. They are a bit on the expensive side, but not so much for AT gear. Too expensive if you don't plan to release the heel.
