Chaco Z2 Classic Sandal - Men's
Adjustable straps, durable, comfortable (APMA approved), and versatility are some things I enjoy about the Men's Chaco Z2 Classic Sandal. After years of wear and breaking them in, you can send them back to Chaco in Michigan and for $40 get new outsoles for more adventuring. I put my first pair of Chaco's through the ringer from 1999 to 2015. I re-soled them 3 times, and am so proud of what they carried me through for 16 years. Some of the adventures my Z2's supported me on: guiding fly fishing for 10yrs, grand canyon and rocky mountain backpacking trips, college, long boarding, hiking, camping, road trips, and years of music festivals.
I have flat feet which require the wide option. The wide option offers a little more room between the heel supports.
I will always have a pair of chaco's.

Smartwool PhD Outdoor Light Crew Sock - Mens
I gave my sock bin a make over with 6 pairs of these socks in the same color. No more sock matching!
I can get 3-4 days of use without wishing these socks. These socks give me confidence knowing my feet are going to be warm, dry, and stink free. I use them for summer hiking, backpacking, everyday use, snowshoeing, and even cold weather running. They're a really versatile sock.
I LOVE THESE SOCKS!

My go to pant.
Written on Oct 23, 2017
I love these pants! Whether I'm going out on the town, hiking, adventure touring, or doing work around the yard these pants meet the task. I love the many design aspects of these pants. They're a cargo pant without feeling bulky. The two upper and two lower zipper vents worked great on a recent Backpacking trip when I needed ventilation. The stretch panels at the top and inside of the legs offer breathability and amazing comfort. The re-enforced articulated knees have held up to some serious abuse with no signs of wear. I love the adjustable cuff and boot lace lock to keep them in place in heavy brush. People will stop you in these pants. They're easily my favorite pants for year round use.
