Most Helpful Positive Review Does the job
This cot is exactly as advertised - lightweight but sturdy, compact. This is great for car camping or an unexpected guest in a full house,apartment or condo. Putting the legs on may be a bit difficult for strength challenged individuals as it requires muscling the aluminum legs into small holes. However, once you get the hang of it, not too hard. Elevated sleeping

I’ve not done much car camping but being in between travel trailers I’m giving it a try. I like the idea of being off the ground and the cot folds up to a smaller profile than my Exped mattress. Once you get the hang of how to bend the support legs into place, it’s a great cot for comfort and support. The grip helper is really nice and needed. I like the tuck away space underneath the cot as well. Good product.

Byer allagash al cot

This cot is great for weekend camping I would not use it for long hikes. it is lightweight and easy to set up and comfortable . I bought it for a 12 day hiking trip and realized if your backpacking it’s probably too heavy for a backpack , but it would be great for a weekend campout . Otherwise , it is a great little cot and will get you off the ground .

  • Not for long hiking trips

Excellent cot for the money

I did a fair amount of research before choosing to go with Byer. For our use, car camping, extra guests, and alternate sheltering these were just we were looking for: lightweight, compact when folded up, and comfortable. They do take a little bit of muscle to get the cross bars in, but not unreasonable. Campsaver had the best price and amazingly fast shipping to Alaska. We really appreciate a comp

I just recieved my cots. I read a lot of reviews as to the difficulty of setting them up. Not true. Very easy. Will comment more after using a few times.
