Comfort, quick set up & take down. - Byer Easy Cot

Purchased the EasyCot for sleeping in the truck under the topper. Original thought was recycling a ~3/4” thick close cell foam pad and just sleeping on the bed floor. Comfort and functional issue. Comfort ok. Pad’s static charge picks up dust and debris.
The Good:
1. Personally find the cot very comfortable.
2. Takes about 30 seconds once out of storage bag to set up. Just as quick and simple to fold down to storage size. No parts. Just the complete one piece cot and storage bag. Easy to deploy even under poor lighting.
3. Stitching and materials seem to be of high quality. Time will tell.
4. Versatility. Relative to ground sleeping. Should be a bit cooler sleeping in warmer temps. With a pad warmer in cooler temps.
5. Frame is heavy duty steel with what looks to be a good painted/powder coated finish.
6. Wider and higher than most camp cots.
7. “Reinforcement” straps on the bottom side gives you the option for slipping in a pad to provide bottom side insulation. Old 1st gen 3/4 length ThermaRest and early gen ThermaRest Regular size NeoAir both work. NeoAir pumped up to very firm was about the max size that would fit.
The “bad”:
1. Cot is on the heavy side.
Recommend this cot for vehicle camping, base camp use or any other use not requiring you becoming a pack animal.
Would Recommend:
Yes
