Multifunctional & Durable Back Pack

We have used this pack for several days hikes on the Florida Trail in Big Cypress National Park (Warning: South Florida summertime heat is not for the faint of heart) as this is our home, land-based park, and also for a 10 day car camping adventure in Wyoming. So far, it has performed beyond my expectations & is a joy to carry, especially considering how heavy I pack it (max 30lbs for the day?) Water weight is a pain carrying in, but the burden eases the further you travel. I love how cushioned the backpad and shoulder straps are, and for the smaller 20L size to come with hip straps (and pockets on the straps!) is a huge plus. They dispersed the weight well, and although the hip straps seem narrow, they do their job. The main cavity is larger than it seems, and fits more than everything I need for the day. I especially love the ability to attach & carry items on the outside
of the pack, whether I need a separate space to keep things clean or dry, or just additional storage to increase the overall capacity. You can strap more than ice axes & a helmet to this pack: I use it to hang out my water shoes, wet clothes and towels to dry. This is not just an alpine pack, but can be used anywhere! The outside pockets are easy enough to access with my long arms, although I usually have to stop to obtain any supplies hidden deeper in the bag.   • 20L is the perfect entry-level pack for my adventures
  • Large side storage pockets, plus pockets located on both shoulder & hip straps make accessing snacks and chapstick a breeze!
Cons:
  • Only one main storage cavity, no internal pockets to help organize
