I use these exclusively in my alpine draws in the spring/summer/fall. In the winter I use these with the Camp Photon wiregates. The only negative in the winter is the small gate opening. Your second is usually somewhat annoyed that they had to clean the Nanos with gloves. It would also be nice if they had a pseudo-keylock design.
