This is only my second running pack, as I am relatively new to trail running (3 years). I ordered this to replace my Ultraspire Zygos pack that has started to fall apart. This was half the price of the Zygos, and works better for what I need. The bottle pockets in front easily accommodate 20oz soft flasks. (In my Zygos, 20oz flasks would bounce and fall out eventually.) It has plenty of pockets on the shoulder straps. The reservoir pocket will accommodate up to a 3-liter bladder (as far as I can tell - I put a 2-liter bladder in it so far and there was plenty of room for a larger one.) It sits really well on my shoulders, where the Zygos always felt like it would slip off.

I did make a few modifications to this pack. I was on the edge of the sizing between medium & large, so I ordered the medium. The bottles were a little too far to the side, so I replaced the elastic cord that attaches to the bottom of the pack. (Cord is cheap and can be found at REI.) So I'm able to draw the straps closer to the center of my chest, which brings the bottles in. This eliminated my arms hitting the bottles when I'm running. Also, the elastic cord is knotted as it comes from the factory. I put some clips on mine so I can adjust it if I need to. 2 feet of cord for each strap is what I used. (It zigzags several times, so it only ends up being maybe 6" from the strap to the bottom of the pack.) The cord that I removed was 1-foot long.
